Volume 13

Pitch: A Journal of Arts and Literature has published student work for thirteen years. In 2022, Pitch partnered with a first-year art class to hold a collaborative zine-making day during which members of the campus community had the opportunity to create zines on an issue they were passionate about. The zines allowed creators to blend their skills in visual arts, writing, and researching in applied advocacy work. Thes zines were photocopied and distributed around campus and are showcased in this issue.

Volume 13 also features interviews with Amanda Larson, author of Gut, and Sara Woster, author of Painting Can Save Your Life. We were honored to welcome both authors to our campus in person.

Pitch held an open mic to give students a platform to share their art and writing and a movie night to explore more diverse art forms. On our Instagram, we continue weekly book recommendations from our editors as a platform to share writing we are passionate about.

Welcome to Pitch, Volume 13.
